MP for upper Denkyira East constituency, Nana Amoako Donated PPE’s to his people to fight Corona virus.

The Member of Parliament for the Upper Denkyira East Constituency, Nana Amoako, on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, donated assorted items to various stakeholder groups in the Upper Denkyira East Constituency.

The items that were distributed by members of the MP’s Gye Nyame team, included Veronica buckets, Personnel Protective Equipment, surgical gloves, 2,850 Hand Sanitizers ,25 litres sanitizers, 40 Veronica buckets, 10 boxes of nose masks, 10 boxes gloves, 52 litres of liquid soap and 24 pieces of towels.

Beneficiaries of the donation included the Upper Denkyira East Municipal Health Directorate, taxi drivers, motor cycle riders, market women and the various lorry stations in the Upper Denkyira East Municipal capital of Dunkwa-On-Offin.

Speaking on the donation, Special Aide to the MP, Justice Adu Asiedu intimated that the donation was in partial fulfillment of the MP’s social contract with the members of the Constituency and that the gesture had no political undertone.

Mr. Asiedu also stressed that the donation exercise was as a result of the MP’s desire to help alleviate the stress that had been brought on the masses in the search for the aforementioned items on the market to buy.

He called on well-meaning individuals and philanthropists to give back to society in abnormal times like this.

Distribution of the PPEs is set to continue on Wednesday in other market centers, shops and some selected communities in the municipality.
